Anathem by Neal Stephenson (WMA downloadable audiobook)

My 3 kids have been after me to read Neal Stephenson, and especially Anathem, for years but it is a daunting book (960 pages) and I've never taken the time. But I did download the audiobook version from NH Downloadable Books and I'm wicked glad I did. DON'T read this book - listen to it. The reader is the best I've ever heard - he does voices and accents and truly makes the book come alive. And it turned out to be a great book - very plot and character driven and really fascinating. If you liked Ender's Game, you'll love it. Even if you don't like SF you might like this, as it is really about a group of people in a monastery-like place facing an outside threat. Now I must read, no make that listen to ,everything Neal Stephenson's ever written!
