The Last Child, by John Hart

I don't usually read mysteries, but this book got great reviews and is the winner of this year's Edgar Award. It is also not your usual mystery - the hero is a 13 year old boy searching for his twin sister who was abducted a year ago. Also searching is a local detective, who is in love with the boy's mother. It turned out to be a real page turner and kept me up at night. And you don't see the ending coming at all...(Don't skip to the end!)
