Meet Mystery Author Archer Mayor at the Friends of the Keene Public Library's Annual Meeting

Wednesday May 9, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.

For their Annual Meeting, the Friends of the Keene Public Library Board will host a special event with mystery author Archer Mayor.  The evening begins at 5:00 p.m. with a social hour.  A very short business meeting to elect officers will begin at approximately 6:00 p.m., which will immediately be followed by Archer Mayor's presentation.

Mayor is the author of the highly acclaimed, Vermont based series featuring detective Joe Gunther, which the Chicago Tribune describes as 'the best police procedurals being written in America.' He is also the 2004 winner of the New England Independent Booksellers Association Award for Best Fiction.  In addition, Archer is a death investigator for Vermont's Chief Medical Examiner, a Deputy Sheriff for Windham County State's Attorney's office, the publisher of his own backlist, a travel writer for AAA, and he travels the Northeast giving speeches and conducting workshops. Archer's most recent book is Tag Man released in 2011. The presentation will be followed by a book signing.  Books will be available for purchase or you can bring your own copies for Mr. Mayor to sign.

This presentation is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Keene Public Library and the Keene Public Library.
