
Science information can be found in several of our subscription databases, including EBSCOHost, which has a general magazine search (with full-text articles); an Academic search for over 4600 scholarly journals; GreenFILE, which offers information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment and includes scholarly, government and general-interest titles with content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. EBSCOHost also has databases for primary, middle school, and high school students.
Science information can also be found in Encyclopedia Britannica online.
We have many books (located in the 500s) on the sciences and many magazines as well, including BioCycle, Discover, National Wildlife, Science, Science News, Scientific American, Sky and Telescope, and Weatherwise. Several large science encyclopedias and dictionaries are in the REF 500s. We also have an extensive collection of science-oriented DVDs.
