The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is made up of young adults between the ages of 12 and 19 years old. TAG members meet monthly and advise the Teen Services Librarian on how the library can serve teens better. If you are looking for ways to get involved with the library and have your voice heard, this is the group for you!
Advise on books to buy, programs to offer and how to make the teen space better.
Hang out with friends.
Write posts on the teen blog.
Get involved with new projects.
Eat snacks and have fun.
The Teen Advisory Group advises the library on teen interests and trends. They suggested cool prizes for libary programs and events. Members suggest ideas for teen programs and volunteer at the programs. Occasionally, members help librarians plan and put on library programs.
TAG is starting up again! We are hoping to meet monthly starting in September 2013.
