The library welcomes new volunteers!
Volunteers are important to the quality service that the library offers. Volunteers help put away books; they lead programs; they help students with homework.
Days and hours are usually flexible - you decide when you want to work.

Our Current Volunteer Needs Include:
For volunteer or intern positions, please call Gail Zachariah at 603-352-0157.
All adult volunteers and interns are required to have references and a background check which includes fingerprinting. Forms and instructions for volunteers 18 years of age and older are available in a Volunteer Information Packet.
If you are a teen between the ages of 14 and 17, you will need to submit completed New Hampshire Youth Employment Certificate before you can volunteer. You will pick up a form in the library's Youth Department, which you will take to Keene High School to be processed. There is a VolunTeen application and manual on teen volunteering that you can download in pdf format.
If you wish to intern at the library, there is a separate process and form to fill out.
